Published:Sunday | January 5, 2014

The East Kingston police say they are following strong leads into yesterday evening's gun attack at a bar in Harbour View, St Andrew, which left two men dead and three others in hospital nursing serious injuries.

Speaking with The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre this afternoon, Superintendent Arthur Brown who has responsibility for the Kingston East Division, said the police is not prepared to provide a motive for the attack at this time even though they are following strong leads.

Supt Brown says the men were attacked while they were standing at the back of the establishment in Bayshore, Harbour View yesterday evening.

The dead men have been identified as Paul Watson, a teacher at the Mona Primary School in St Andrew and Omar Campbell, a resident of Hartwell Gardens in Clarendon.

The other three men, a St Catherine businessman, a technician and a bus conductor are said to be still in hospital in stable condition.
