Jamaican striker Jermaine ‘Tuffy’ Anderson has signed a deal with Club Deportivo Aguila in El Salvador.

The striker, who scored 21 goals for Waterhouse FC in the Jamaican Premier League last season, says he intends to take full advantage of the opportunity to ply his trade abroad.

Since Anderson's departure last Thursday, Waterhouse have struggled in the nation's Red Stripe Premier League and have failed to score in their last two games.

Anderson appeared in three World Cup Qualifying matches for Brazil 2014, netting a stoppage-time equalizer in a 1-1 draw against visiting Costa Rica last September.

In El Salvador, he will join countryman Sean Fraser, who plays for Alianza.

Aguila is the second most successful club in El Salvador having won 15 domestic titles and one CONCACAF Champions Cup.
