UPDATE: Mona Road JPS to have power tomorrow

Published:Friday | January 10, 2014 | 1:49 PM

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) says there will no longer be a need to suspend electricity tomorrow for several St Andrew communities affected by yesterday's gas truck explosion along Mona Road.

The JPS had earlier said several communities would have lost power for nine hours to stabilise its service in the area.

Six-thousand customers had lost electricity in the aftermath of yesterday’s fire.
