Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade A.J. Nicholson has announced that effective March 1, Jamaicans travelling to Bermuda will no longer require a visa.

Senator Nicholson gave the update in the Upper House this morning.

However, he says in order for Jamaicans to benefit from Bermuda’s visa regime changes, visitors will have to possess a multiple entry visa to the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.

He said the news is welcomed especially given the recent agreement with Brazil to allow Jamaicans to travel visa free to the South American country.
