High school boys set to dominate at Penn today

The 120th Penn Relays Carnival at Franklin Field in Philadelphia ends today with Jamaica’s high school boys set to dominate the Championship of America’s 4 by 100 and 4 by 800-metre relays.



Six Jamaican teams are in the High School Boys’ Championship of America 4 by 100-metre relay set for 12:57 in the afternoon Jamaica time.



Jamaica College (JC) are the fastest qualifier after posting 40.92 seconds in winning their heat yesterday.



The other Jamaican schools in the final are Calabar, St George’s College, KC, Wolmer’s Boys’ and St Jago High.



Calabar, Kingston College and JC, are in the High School Boys’ Championship of America 4 by 800-metre relay, set to start at 3 o'clock in the afternoon Jamaica time.



Calabar enter the event as the fastest qualifier with seven minutes 42.94 seconds.
