ST THOMAS, Jamaica:

The Yallahs police in St Thomas are now searching for a man, who they believe could assist them in their investigations, following the murder of his brother in the hills of Summerset, St Andrew this morning.

The dead man is Leroy Lindsay, an elder of a Seventh-day Adventist Church in the area.

He was found about 8 o'clock this morning with multiple wounds inflicted to his left side.

It is reported that Lindsay had gone with church members to clean his father's house, where his brother also resides.

It is alleged that his brother’s phone charger went missing and Lindsay was accused of taking it.

This morning the two reportedly got into a confrontation and Lindsay was stabbed several times.

Meanwhile, the Golden Grove police in St Thomas are yet to lay charges on the prime suspect involving Wednesday's murder of 22-year-old Oshane Reid a Labourer of Wheelersfield in that parish.

Reid was shot and killed by a lone gunman at his home.

The suspect, who is of a Johnson Mountain address in the parish, was taken into custody on Thursday, following allegation that both men had a dispute over a gun belonging to Morrison.
