Clarendon police arrest man found with two homemade guns

A Clarendon man who was said to be scaring residents is now in custody after two homemade firearms along with three rounds of ammunition were recovered from him yesterday.



The police say that about 6:30 a.m. they responded to reports that a man was terrorising residents in the Swansea community in the parish.



Upon their arrival, the man was apprehended and two homemade firearms along with three 9mm rounds were found on his person.



He was arrested and taken into custody; his identity is being withheld at this time.
