FOOTBAL: U-15 Reggae Girlz take on Haiti in quarter-final match today
Jamaica’s young Reggae Girlz will go in search of a spot in the semi-finals of the inaugural CONCACAF Under-15 Girls’ Tournament in the Cayman Island today.
The Jamaicans, who are unbeaten in the tournament, will play Haiti in one of the four quarterfinal games.
The Jamaica, Haiti quarterfinal tie will take place at the T.E. McField Sports Complex, starting at 7:45 p.m.
The young Reggae Girlz earned a quarterfinal tie with Haiti after winning Group C in the preliminary round.
They took group honours following a goalless draw with Costa Rica in a top-of-the-table fixture on Monday night.
The TE McField Sports Complex will also host another quarterfinal match today as Canada and Costa Rica will face off at 5:30 p.m.
The two other quarterfinal ties will be played at Truman Bodden Sports Complex.
Those matches are Trinidad and Tobago against Bahamas at 5:30 p.m. and hosts Cayman Islands against Honduras at 7:45 p.m.
