Jamaica’s young Reggae Girlz have failed to get into the semi-finals of the first-ever CONCACAF Under-15 Girls’ Tournament in the Cayman Island.

The young Reggae Girlz were knocked out at the quarter-final stage last night by Haiti at the TE McField Sports Complex.

The Haitians had to come from behind to win 2-1 after Jamaica had taken a 28th minute lead through Jody Brown.

Haiti won the tie courtesy of two goals in three minutes from Lovelie Pierre and Nerilia Mondesir.

With the victory Haiti will now play Honduras in the second semi-final.

Honduras qualified following a 3-2 win over hosts Cayman Islands.

The other semi-final tie features Trinidad and Tobago against Canada.

T&T won their quarter-final tie 4-0 against Bahamas, while Canada whipped Costa Rica 8-1.

The semifinals will take place tomorrow with the winners competing in the final and the losers contesting the match for third place on Sunday.
