ATHLETICS: Hyde, Manley lead Ja Summer Youth Olympic team

The second Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China starts today with Jamaica down to compete in four sporting disciplines.

A contingent of 20 athletes will represent Jamaica in track and field, beach volleyball, fencing and swimming.

Track and field with 15 athletes is the largest of the contingents. Jaheel Hyde and Martin Manley will lead Jamaica’s track and field contingents.

Track and field starts on August 20.
