Officials of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will this morning present their findings on Jamaica's economic performance during the April to June quarter.

The IMF mission has been in Jamaica since August 13 assessing whether the country has met the quantitative targets and structural benchmarks under the Extended Fund Facility with the Washington-based agency.

The Finance Minister Dr Peter Phillips and the IMF team are to host a post review press conference at 11 o' clock this morning.

Phillips has already expressed confidence that Jamaica will meet the targets noting that based on the Government’s assessment, all the criteria for the June quarter were met.

After passing the fourth IMF test in June, Jamaica received US$70.9 million, bringing total disbursements to US$414.4 million.
