ATHLETICS: Manley wins 400m gold at Summer Youth Olympics

St Jago High schoolboy Martin Manley won Jamaica's first medal at the second Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China by claiming gold in the men's 400 metres today.



Martin won the final in 46.31 seconds ahead of Karabo Sibanda of Botswana, who clocked a personal-best 46.76 for the silver.



Bahamanian Henri Delauze won the bronze medal in a personal-best 46.91.
