Suspected drowning at St James hotel, four-year-old boy dies

A four-year-old boy is suspected to have drowned in a pool at a hotel in St James yesterday.

He has been identified as Amelio Campbell of First Hill, in Lucea, Hanover.

The Coral Gardens Police say about 1 o’ clock yesterday afternoon, Amelio was in the pool on a floating device when he fell into the water.

He reportedly got into difficulties and was later pulled from the water and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
