Jamaica Civil Service Association president wants JUTC leadership team out

Published:Wednesday | August 27, 2014 | 8:49 AM

Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA) President Oniel Grant says members of his association are calling for the replacement of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company's (JUTC) entire leadership team.

According to Grant, the association is not satisfied that Managing Director, Colin Campbell and Board Chairman, Reverent Garnet Roper, have the required competencies to effectively manage the JUTC.

Grant also wants Transport Minister, Dr Omar Davies to closely examine the structure of the state owned bus company, to ensure that the JUTC is operating efficiently.

The JCSA President was speaking following the association’s general council meeting last evening.
