Two men died yesterday following motor vehicle crashes in western Jamaica.

Orett Hylton of Burnt Savannah in St Elizabeth died during a collision on the Woolery main road in the parish.

The police say Hylton was driving a Toyota Corolla motor car along the main road in the company of a male passenger.

It’s reported that the car crashed into a Toyota Mark X motor car which was travelling in the opposite direction.

All the occupants received multiple injuries and were taken to hospital where Hylton died while undergoing treatment.

The police say the other two are in hospital.

Meanwhile, Jermaine Gooden has succumbed to injuries he received during a crash on Monday on the Rose Hall main road in St. James.

He is of a Springfield address also in St. James.

The police say Gooden was driving a Suzuki Baleno motor car along the Rose Hall main road when the driver of a Toyota Hiace motor truck allegedly lost control and the vehicle collided with the Suzuki Baleno.

Both men were taken to hospital where the driver was reportedly treated and released.

Gooden died yesterday while undergoing treatment.
