CRICKET: WI beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in first Test

West Indies defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets before the scheduled luncheon interval on the fifth day of the first Test at Arnos Vale in St Vincent today.

Following on, Bangladesh were bowled out for 314 in their second innings after resuming this morning on 256 for five.

The last four batsmen went back to the pavilion without scoring, but Mushfiqur Rahim, who was 70 overnight, completed his century.

He scored 116 before Jerome Taylor had him caught by Darren Bravo.

Kemar Roach picked up two of the three wickets this morning to finish with best figures of four for 64.

Shannon Gabriel and Sulieman Benn had two wickets each.

Needing 13 runs to win the West Indies reached the victory target in the third over.

Final scores in the match - West Indies 484 for seven declared and 13 without loss; Bangladesh 182 and 314.

The second and final Test starts on Saturday at Gros Islet in St Lucia.
