Three men, who the police have labeled as dangerous, remain on the run after cutting their way out of the Spanish Town lock-up in St Catherine last night.

A fourth prisoner, 25-year-old Kevin Johnson of Crescent Road in Kingston 13, was recaptured by the police early this morning.

However, the hunt continues for 21-year-old Andre Knight, 25-year-old Zenas Gemison and Rushane Fedrick.

They are all of St Catherine addresses.

The police say about 11 o’clock last night, the men who were all in the same cell, cut their way through a grille at the back of the room.

They then reportedly went through a passage way from which they made their escape.

The police say after discovering the jailbreak, they launched a manhunt and Johnson was recaptured in the Kingston 13 area.

Five policemen were on duty when the incident occurred.

The police are warning the public that the men were incarcerated for serious offenses.

One of the escapees is reportedly on a murder charge in a high-profile case.
