Portmore hit and run victim still unidentified

The Waterford Police in St Catherine are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the body of a woman who was the victim of a hit-and-run.



The woman, who is believed to be about 40-years-old, was found along the Passagefort main road.



It is reported that on the night of Tuesday, September 2 the woman and a man allegedly attempted to cross the road when they were hit by a Toyota Noah motor truck.



The police say the driver did not stop.



They say both persons were taken to hospital where the woman was pronounced dead and the male treated and released.
