FOOTBALL: Manning Cup resumes with nine games

Six teams with perfect win records will be in action today when the ISSA/LIME urban-area Manning Cup football competition resumes with nine games across four groups.

Among the teams in action today with a perfect record is defending champions Jamaica College (JC).

JC, who are unbeaten in two games, will host Norman Manley in a Group G top-of-the-table match.

Also in the group, third place Jonathan Grant will entertain last place Kingston Technical.

Kingston College who have also won their two games, will travel to Portmore to play third place Waterford in Group A.

The other game in the group features leaders St George’s College against fourth place Jose Marti at Emmet Park.

Three games are scheduled for Group D. The group features a top-of-the-table fixture between Camperdown and Haile Selassie.

The other matches are Papine against Bridgeport and Dunoon against Greater Portmore.

The remaining matches come from Group E with Holy Trinity hosting Wolmer’s Boys in a top-of-the-table match and Spanish Town facing Clan Carthy.

All matches are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
