Cuba and China to cooperate in trade promotion

Agreements intended to strengthen cooperation and facilitate the exchange of business delegations and information, were signed between Cuban and Chinese officials in the Asian country at the weekend.

The Cuban Chamber of Commerce signed the deal with the representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

These agreements will also enable entrepreneurs from different regions of China access to opportunities for foreign investment in Cuba.

The ceremony took place during the sessions of a summit involving more than 800 delegates from 38 Latin American and Caribbean countries.
