FOOTBALL: Unbeaten teams Innswood and Hydel resume Manning Cup campaign today

The unbeaten pair of Innswood and Hydel will return to action today when the urban-area ISSA/LIME Manning Cup football competition resumes with eight matches across three groups.



Innswood, who lead Group C with maximum nine points, will host fifth place Ardenne at Chedwin Park in St Catherine.



The group also features last place Edith Dalton against second place Denham Town, and fourth place St Mary’s College against third place Tivoli.



Hydel, who also have a perfect win record, will visit Calabar for a Group F top-of-the-table fixture.



Also in the group, fourth place St Jago will host third place St Catherine in a Spanish Town derby at Prison Oval, while Penwood and Eltham will face off.



Over in Group B, second place Excelsior will be hoping to cut into Charlie Smith’s lead when they face third place Mona, while Cumberland will tackle Vauxhall.



All matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
