HOCKEY: Jamaica getting ready to host World League

The Jamaica Hockey Federation has named 22 male and 20 female players to prepare for Round One of the Hockey World League.



Jamaica will host Round One from September 30 to October 4.



Five debutants have been included in the female squad.



They are Shenice Campbell, Shantel Graham, Kareme Hudson, Melisha Murray and Shannar White.



Lorie-Ann McIntosh will captain the female team.



Kishawn White will lead the male team and 10 players have received their first call up to the senior team.



Those players are Jonte Johnson, Phillip Dawson, Giovanni Green, Andrew Flecher, Brandon Clarke, Kardiff Davidson, Shiaiene Blake, Tyrone Vernon, Giovanni Campbell and Rjay Wallen.



The Hockey World League comprises four rounds that last over a two-year cycle.
