Police inspectorate probes inmate's death at Lucea police station

The Police say the Inspectorate of Constabulary has launched an investigation into the death of a prisoner at the Lucea police station in Hanover.



The dead man is 38-year-old Donovan Gordon.



The Police say yesterday Gordon was at the police station where he fell ill and later collapsed.



They further say he was taken to hospital where he died.



The police say the matter is being investigated and more information will be provided to the public later.



The Independent Commission of Investigations is also probing the matter.
