FOOTBALL: DaCosta Cup continues with 12 matches

The rural-area ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup football competition continues today with 12 return-leg matches across five groups.

Five teams including defending champions St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) will be looking to protect their unbeaten records.

STETHS, who are leading Group E by four points, have an easy assignment against Newell High at Treasure Beach Sports Park.

Newell are at the bottom of the table without a point from six games.

The other unbeaten who will see action today are Holmwood Technical and Knox College from Group G, Cedric Titus from Group I and Glenmuir from Group M.

Group leaders Holmwood Technical will travel to Sanguinette Community Centre to play third place Alston, while second place Knox College will face bottom place Spalding High at Kirkvine Sports Club.

Cedric Titus will host Marcus Garvey High in a top-of-the-table fixture, while second place Glenmuir and bottom place Bustamante will face off in Group M.

All matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
