Jamaica's Badminton president heads to pilot course in Guatemala

President of the Jamaica Badminton association, Robert Richards, will leave the island for Guatemala on Sunday to participate in a pilot course.



The Pan American Badminton Confederation in conjunction with the Badminton World Federation puts on the course.



The course will be a three-day intense seminar that will cover all the aspects of selecting a player and the plans and strategies to making them become an elite player.



Richards, a past national player, was asked specifically to participate in the pilot project to give feedback on both the benefits of the course as well as its viability.



Richards will return home on Thursday, October 2.
