Several lawyers leave Attorney General's Department, dissatisfied with working conditions
There has been an exodus of lawyers from the Attorney General's Department over the last six months.
It is reported that more than six lawyers have left the department as they were not satisfied with the conditions under which they had to work.
When contacted by our news centre an executive officer in the department confirmed that the department was short staffed.
However, the officer reported that some of the vacancies have been filled, and recruitment is ongoing.
The officer disclosed that the lawyers left the department for various reasons.
