In a statement today, the Opposition JLP says Samuda will be presented tomorrow as its candidate for the Mona Division in the next local government elections, which are constitutionally due next year.
This will take place at the division’s annual conference scheduled to take place at Mountain View Primary School, in St Andrew.
Samuda is the son of attorney-at-law and former Jamaica Chamber of Commerce president Milton Samuda and vice-president of the Generation 2000, the young professional arm of the JLP.
