FOOTBALL: Flow Champions Cup kicks off with four games

The Flow Champions Cup, the nation's premier knockout football competition, kicks off today with four matches.



The matches are Seaforth hosting Holland at Seaforth Sport Complex in St Thomas; August Town entertaining Highgate United at the UWI Bowl; Old Harbour tackling Portmore United at Spanish Town Prison Oval; and New Green facing Black Star at Brooks Park in Mandeville.



All games start at 3 p.m.



The competition will feature 14 parish championship teams and 12 premier league teams.



The final is set for November 17.



This year’s winner will receive $1.5 million up from a million that reigning champions Waterhouse received last year.



The beaten finalist will receive $440,000, while each of the two beaten semi-finalists will pocket $200,000.
