The Jamaica Volleyball Association (JaVA) is now searching for a new president following the resignation of Superintendent Steve Brown.

The local body confirmed the resignation through a press release last night.

The release stated that Brown resigned as a result of health concerns.

Brown had indicated that he was considering resigning from as early as July.

JaVA’s general secretary Tracey-Ann Bonner will act as president until an election is held.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on October 13.
