Four shortlisted for Walsh Award

Boxer Testi Davis is among four sporting standouts short-listed for the 2014 Courtney Walsh Award for Excellence.



Netballer Romelda Aiken and track and field athletes Novlene Williams-Mills and Michael Frater are the other nominees.



The Courtney Walsh Award for Excellence is awarded annually to recognise exemplary qualities in a Jamaican national between 18 to 40 years of age who has represented the country at the senior level in the field of sports.



The ceremony to announce the winner is set for October 16 at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel.



Awards will also be presented to two outstanding students at the Secondary Education level.
