Published:Saturday | October 4, 2014 | 10:59 PM

Almost 143 million Brazilians will vote tomorrow to elect a new Brazilian president.

Electors will also vote to renew the Federal Congress, one third of the Federal Senate, and Governors and State Assemblies of all 26 States and the Federal District.

This year, the voters list comprises 337,68 per cent more names that it did in the 2010 general election.

The Brazilian Embassy says voters abroad can only vote on the presidential elections and polling stations will be available at its Kingston offices.

Voting will take place at the Embassy of Brazil in Kingston between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday for the 47 registered Brazilian voters from Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

The current President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, will be running for re-election for the Workers Party.
