Spain confirms first Ebola case

Spain has confirmed its first case of the deadly Ebola virus.

Spanish Health Minister Ana Mato announced today that a nurse's assistant has been tested positive.

The woman is the first person known to have contracted Ebola outside of Africa since ‎the outbreak.‎‎

The nurse's assistant had helped to treat a Spanish missionary who contracted Ebola in West Africa.‎
