Three arrested in connection with Port Royal robbery

The police yesterday arrested two men and a woman in connection with an alleged robbery at a business establishment in Port Royal, Kingston.



The police say about 11 o’ clock, yesterday morning, the assailants entered the business place, robbed occupants of a sum of money and then escaped.



An alarm was raised and a joint team from the Kingston Eastern Division, Mobile Reserve, Flying Squad, Marine Police and the Mobile Patrol Division responded.



The police say a manhunt was launched and the three accused were subsequently arrested.



They further say they recovered $80,000 and a motor cycle.
