CRICKET: Windies need strong all-round effort to beat India, says Ramdin

Denesh Ramdin says West Indies need to sharpen up in all aspects of their game if they are to beat India in the One-Day International series.

He believes the arrival of the players from the Champions League Twenty20 will enhance their chances.

The Caribbean side face India in a five-match series starting tomorrow in Kochi.

However, they will head into that game on the back of two defeats to India A in the 50-over tour matches.

West Indies lost their first match by nine wickets at Brabourne Stadium last Friday and went down again, this time by 16 runs in Sunday’s second match.

Ramdin, however, believes the addition of captain Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith and Jamaican Andre Russell will bolster the strength of the squad.
