FOOTBALL: Walker Cup KO starts on Saturday

The ISSA/LIME urban-area Walker Cup knockout competition starts on Friday with two quarter-final matches at the Constant Spring field.



The Walker Cup knockout competition comprises the seven group winners of the Manning Cup and the best second place team.



Holy Trinity from Group E advanced as the best second place team.



They will open their campaign against Jamaica College in the second match of the double header at Constant Spring.



That match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.



Denham Town and Hydel will contest the first quarter-final fixture at 1 p.m.



Defending champions Wolmer’s Boys bow into action on Saturday against Charlie Smith in the fourth and final quarterfinal match.



The other quarter-final tie on the day features St Geroge’s College against Camperdown.
