Investigators at the Financial Investigations Division (FID) have arrested and charged four persons in connection to lottery scamming related offences.

They are Jermaine Watson of a Montego Bay, St James address, Judian James, Horatio Anglin and Sanika Bucknor, all of Hanover address.

All four have been charged with conspiracy to obtain money by false pretense and possession of and transporting criminal property.

They are to appear in court later this month.

The FID says charges being laid are a culmination of a series of raids carried out across St James and Hanover between Tuesday and yesterday.

It says the operation is part of ongoing investigations into foreign citizens being defrauded through the lotto scam.
