Labour ministry, Petrojam and disgruntled employees emergency meeting planned for Monday
The labour ministry has scheduled an emergency meeting for Monday between the management of the country’s sole oil refinery Petrojam and disgruntled employees.
Yesterday, the employees who are represented by the Petroleum Workers Association served the management of Petrojam with a 72-hour notice of industrial action, which expires on Monday.
In a statement yesterday, the ministry said both sides will meet at its downtown Kingston offices to try and resolve their differences.
