CRICKET: India beat West Indies in fourth ODI

Jamaican batsman Marlon Samuels hit his second century on tour but the West Indies suffered a 59-run defeat against India in the fourth One-Day International at Dharamsala today.



The defeat means that West Indies are trailing the five-match series 2-1.



Set a big victory of 331, the West Indies were bowled out for 271 in 48.1.



Samuels was last man out for 112 off 106 balls.



Samuels’ Jamaican teammate Andre Russell scored 46 from 23 balls, while Darren Bravo got 40.



Earlier, India sent in to bat posted a mammoth 330 for six off their 50 overs with Virat Kohli scoring his 20th ODI ton.



Kohli scored 127, with Suresh Raina smashing 71 from 58 balls and opener Ajinkya Rahane hitting 68.



Jerome Taylor, Jason Holder, Andre Russell and Suliemann Benn picked up a wicket apiece.
