HORSE RACING: $10.8-million Supreme Venture feature on today

The first leg of the $10.8-million Supreme Venture Limited’s two-year-old series, the Cash Pot Only One For Me Trophy, will highlight today’s Heroes Day programme at Caymanas Park.

Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta holds a very strong hand in the 1200-metre event with four of the eight horses declared.

Dacosta’s entries are ALI BABA, to be ridden by title chasing jockey Dick Cardenas, CHALICE PIPE with Shamaree Muir, first timer DRIPPING WITH COLD with Georgina Surgeon and DINNER BY SEVEN with Robert Halledeen.

The holiday card will also feature the Norman Manley Memorial Cup, over the round five course and the Heroes Day Stake over 1,600 metres.
