FOOTBALL: CONCACAF Women's Championship resumes today
The CONCACAF Women’s Championship in the United States resumes today with the final set of Group A preliminary round matches.
The two finalists and the winner of the match for third place earn automatic spots at the 2015 World Cup in Canada, while the fourth-place team will face Ecuador in a playoff for another spot.
Caribbean champions Trinidad and Tobago will try to book a semi-final spot when they face bottom place Guatemala.
The game starts at 4 p.m. and is the first game of a double-header at the RFK Stadium.
The other Caribbean side in the group, Haiti, will also try to qualify for the semis.
They face hosts USA at 6:30 p.m.
