Police seeking Honda Civic driver in deadly St Elizabeth accident

A man is now dead following a traffic accident in St Elizabeth yesterday.



Fifty-seven-year-old Renford Findley of Balaclava, in the parish died as a result of injuries he received in a fatal collision on the Siloah main road.



Reports from the Black River Police are that about 2:30 yesterday afternoon, Findley was riding his Honda motorcycle with a pillion aboard, when he collided with a Honda Civic motorcar travelling in the opposite direction.



He and the pillion sustained injuries and were taken to hospital where Findley died while being treated.



The pillion rider was admitted in stable condition.



The Police are appealing to anyone who may be able to assist in locating the driver of the Honda Civic motorcar to contact the Black River Police at 965-2232, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
