Cavalier will try to regain their four-point lead when the 2014-2015 Red Stripe Premier League resumes today with its Monday Night fixture.

The inform Cavalier will host former champions Tivoli Gardens at the Stadium East field.

Action is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

Cavalier, who have won five of their seven games, enter the day with a one-point lead and a game in hand; while Tivoli Gardens are languishing in eight place after winning two times from six games.

Cavalier had their four-point lead cut to one yesterday after second place Waterhouse scored an away 3-2 victory over Rivoli United at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.

However, based on Cavalier’s early form they are highly fancied to retain the four point lead today.

Reno, Arnett Gardens and Harbour View are now locked on 11 points each.

However, based on goal difference Harbour View, who secured a 2-1 away win over Barbican, hold down third place.

Reno, who entered the day in third place, slipped to fourth after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Boys’ Town at Collie Smith Drive.

And Arnett Gardens lost fourth position and slipped to fifth after suffering a 3-2 defeat against Sporting Central Academy at the Juici Park in Clarendon.

In the day’s other fixture, defending champions Montego Bay United blanked newcomers Barbican 2-0 at Wespow Park to move from eighth to sixth place.
