FOOTBALL: JC, Holy Trinity return to action in Manning Cup

Defending champions Jamaica College (JC) and Holy Trinity will return to action in the second round of the ISSA/LIME Manning Cup today following action in the inaugural Super Cup Knockout competition on Saturday.



Both have qualified for the semi-finals of the Super Cup following victories on Saturday.



The urban Manning Cup will feature a Group J double-header at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.



Holy Trinity and Denham Town will contest opening game at 1 p.m.

In the second game at the venue JC and Excelsior will meet in a top-of-the-table fixture at 3 p.m.



Both teams are on three points following the opening set of second round games in Zone J. However, Exelsior are leading the group through goal difference.



Holy Trinity and Denham Town are without a point.



The second round comprises four groups and the group winners will contest the semi-finals.
