KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Ex-convict, 'James Bond' who was recently released from prison on parole, was last night shot dead in Rocky Point, Clarendon.

The police say 40-year-old, Fitzroy Johnson, alias James Bond, was sitting with a group of men at a shop on the Rocky Point beach, when a gunman walked up to the business place, shot him and then escaped on foot.

The police were called and 'James Bond' rushed to the Lionel Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

"At the moment we haven’t established a motive for this latest murder, however, our investigation is ongoing," said a policeman.
