Published:Thursday | October 30, 2014 | 10:26 AM

The second round of the 2014 ISSA/LIME urban area Manning Cup football competition continues today with a Group I double-header at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.

Leaders Vauxhall and second place Innswood will contest the opening fixture at 1 o’clock p.m.

Then at 3 o’clock, third place Charlie Smith and last place Norman Manley will face off in the second game.

Vauxhall are leading the four-team group by two points following a 3-2 victory over Norman Manley last week.

Innswood and Charlie Smith are locked on a point each, while Norman Manley occupied last place without a point.

Only the group winner will advance to the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Wolmer’s Boys moved closer to a semi-final spot after securing their second straight Group H victory at Prison Oval yesterday.

The Wolmerians whipped Haile Selassie 4-0 in the opening game and only need a draw against St George’s on November 3 to secure the semi-final spot from the group.

St George’s College secured an important 5-1 victory against Calabar in the second game to revive their semi-final hopes.

With the victory, St George’s College climbed to four points in the group, two behind Wolmer’s Boys.
