Carib Media association concerned about closure of Grenadian radio station
The Association of Caribbean Media Workers has expressed concern about the closure of a local radio station in Grenada.
In a statement, the association said it is concerned about the regulatory system administered by the National Telecommunications and Regulatory Commission.
On October 20, CHIME FM was ordered to cease broadcasting.
The order came about five months after the company had met all requirements set out by the Commission.
The association has asked the regulator to immediately state the reasons CHIME FM has been ordered off the air.
