Camperdown High will try to move a step closer to a semi-final spot in the ISSA/LIME Manning Cup when the urban-area football competition resumes, today, with a Group K second round double-header.

The matches will take place at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.

Camperdown, who are leading the group by two points, will play St Jago High in the second game of the double-header at 3 p.m.

Camperdown achieved the only victory in the group, last week, by beating Kingston College, KC, 2-0 in their opening second round game.

On that day, St Jago high and Hydel battled to a 1-1 draw.

Both schools need victory to keep their semi-final hopes alive.

Hydel, who are in second place courtesy of goal difference, will play bottom place KC in the opening game of the double-header.

That match is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

Meanwhile, Wolmer’s Boys secured the first semi-final spot yesterday after a comfortable 3-0 victory over St George’s College in the final Group H second round game.

The game was played at the Constant Spring field.

With the victory, Wolmer’s Boys won the group with maximum nine points, five clear of St George’s College in second place.

Coach of Wolmer’s Boys, Ludlow Bernard, says the victory was an immediate answer to the shock loss against Holy Trinity in the Super Cup on Saturday.
