FOOTBALL: Manning Cup semi-final fixture to be completed today

The semi-final fixture of the urban area ISSA/LIME Manning Cup football competition will be completed today following the last set of second round games in Groups I and K.



The day will feature two set of double-headers.



In Group I, Charlie Smith,Vauxhall and Innswood are fighting for the semi-final spot.



Only a point separates the three teams with Charlie Smith and Innswood locked on four points, one ahead of Innswood.



Charlie Smith, who are leading the group through goal difference, will face third place Vauxhall.



That match is the second game of a double-header at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.



Kick off time is 3 p.m.



Innswood will face out-of-contention Norman Manley in the other Zone I game.



That match will be played at the Constant Spring field, and also starts at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.



Over in Group K Camperdown, who are leading by two points, only need a draw to qualify for the semi-finals.



Camperdown will play Hydel in a top-of-the-table fixture at Prison Oval, starting at 1 p.m.



The other Group K game also starts at 1 p.m. and will be played at the Constant Spring field.



It features third place St Jago against out-of-contention Kingston College.



Wolmer's Boys, from Group H, and defending champion Jamaica College, from Group J, have already qualified for the semi-finals.
