Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz and Martinique battled to a 1-1 draw in their opening Group B fixture of the 2014 CFU Caribbean Cup Finals at the Montego Bay Sports Complex last night.

The Reggae Boyz took the lead in the 13th minute through Darren Mattocks, while Yoann Arquin equalized for Martinique in the 29th.

In group’s opening game, Haiti and Antigua and Barbuda played to 2-2 draw.

Jamaica’s next match will be against Antigua and Barbuda tomorrow at 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, action in Group A resumes today with Trinidad and Tobago seeking to move closer to a semi-final spot.

T&T, who are leading the group by two points, will face French Guiana in the opening game of a double-header at the Montego Bay Complex.

The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Then at 8 p.m. defending champions Cuba and Curacao will face off.

T&T secured the early lead in the group following a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Curacao in the tournament’s opener on Tuesday.

They enter today’s third day of action on three points, two ahead of French Guiana and Cuba who are locked on a point each, while Curaçao are without a point.

Cuba, who won the title in 2012, will be going for their first victory after they conceded a stoppage time goal to draw 1-1 with French Guiana.
