Police arrest four during Bog Walk operation

The Bog Walk police in St Catherine have taken four persons into custody for various crimes during a four hour operation this morning.



Reports are that about two o'clock, a man was held in the Barry community with cable copper wires valued at more than $1 million.



About an hour later, a man said to be a 'serial' praedial thief was taken from his bed by the police.



And approximately 4:30 a.m., a police team arrested two men while on an operation along the Cashew Walk Main Road.



It is reported that a Toyota Hiace with two men aboard was stopped and during a search the police found 22 bags of oranges valued more than $50,000.



The men were taken into custody on suspicion of larceny.



The names of the suspects are being withheld by the police pending further investigations.
